Sometimes it can feel as if we're being swept along by life's out-of-control current. No matter what we do, we can't seem to keep our boats upright. As a professionally trained and licensed counselor who has spent more than two decades in the counseling field, I've learned skills that not only keep me from capsizing, but also better equip me to affect my direction. MISSION STATEMENT

We believe in a holistic and integrative approach to counseling and wellness, recognizing that the body, soul, and spirit are intricately entwined. We work to provide a safe, comfortable, accepting environment for growth to take place, treating each person with honor and respect, while communicating belief in his or her ability to develop and change. During the sometimes difficult work that this process entails, it is vital to communicate hope and offer encouragement for a different and better future and since laughter truly is good medicine, humor is integrated regularly. The use of traditional and innovative techniques allows for an approach that is tailored to each person. The overarching goal is to empower clients to make decisions that will help them grow emotionally, psychologically, relationally, and spiritually.
